Who doesn't want a shortcut when it comes to losing weight? Of course, diet and exercise are absolutely necessary for you to look healthy and radiant. As we all know, you can never go wrong with looking fit and fab the old-fashioned way. But there are times where sometimes, diet and exercise just doesn't cut it. It could be for health-related reasons. It could be for ageing-related reasons. Or maybe it could be you honestly just want to get rid of your face and body's excess, stubborn fat ASAP. Millions of people are looking for quick fixes, or at least, more straightforward solutions in losing the fat they have in their faces or bodies. Cue the aesthetics industry with their miraculous treatments and their ever-evolving techniques for getting rid of facial and body fat in safer and more straightforward ways.
For as long as the aesthetics industry has existed, time and time again, doctors have created treatments targeted at banishing facial and body fat with various tools and techniques. There's the ever-popular liposuction, which is an invasive surgery that, you guessed it, sucks out the fat from your body to give you a slimmer appearance. Liposuction and body contouring, in general, dominated the aesthetics industry for a while. It was the most popular treatment in terms of being able to make you look like you've lost a lot of weight in the blink of an eye. Okay, we're exaggerating, of course, but the results show up faster than if you go the traditional route of diet and exercise. But the controversial thing was, these treatments were invasive. Despite the need to lose fat faster than you can say "exercise" the fear of going under the knife was a common issue that many faced. And that's totally valid—it is quite intimidating to undergo invasive surgeries. More so when you haven't thoroughly researched what happens after you've had it. Or, more commonly, if you're not confident you'll be able to maintain your cosmetically enhanced area.
So now it's 2019, and clearly, the aesthetics industry has made several significant strides in terms of technique and technology. Generally, they're massively improved treatments and created new ones that are far safer and are low maintenance. More importantly, they've made treatments far more accessible and affordable! The minute that fillers hit the mainstream, the demand for aesthetic procedures skyrocketed all over the world, most notably in the US and the UK. Now more than ever, it's easier to have access to safe and affordable treatments, and we're happy to be the providers of these treatments.
That being said, we've got more than just fillers and Botox up our sleeves. We also have a few advanced treatments that yield fantastic results for those who want to rewind the clock and look fresh and youthful. We're genuinely in awe of our clients who've responded positively toward our treatments geared towards looking fresh and youthful. Like we've said before, wanting to look young is something that'll never go out of style, and there are a lot of factors that involve that. Apart from fillers, Botox, and facials, we've added something new to our treatment list. This has been highly requested, and could possibly help on your journey to looking young and looking even more beautiful.
Say hello to fat-dissolving injections!
What are fat-dissolving injections?
Fat-dissolving injections, also known as non-surgical body contouring, is a treatment that dramatically reduces fat deposits your body. Fat-dissolving is a non-surgical treatment that involves injecting your skin with Aqualyx®. Once injected, Aqualyx® targets and eliminates fat deposits, giving you a slimmer and more contoured appearance, depending on your treated area. This treatment can be used on the face and body, such as the chin, cheeks, knees, ankles, hips, thighs, upper arms, and back.
How long does the treatment take?
It takes about fifteen minutes to finish the entire procedure.
How much does it cost?
- £199 for one session
- £398 for two sessions
- £500 for three sessions
What can I expect after my treatment?
Things to avoid:
- Any activity related to extreme heat or sweat. This includes being under the sun for long periods and going to the sauna or gym. These activities can also affect how the injectables metabolise in your body.
- Too much movement or strenuous activity. It's important not to move your affected areas too much to give the injectables time to settle properly in your treated area.
- Applying too much pressure on your face or body, as this can potentially damage the treated area.
Things to do:
- Keep your face or body clean. This means no makeup, scrubs, heavy masks, or lotions.
- You may apply a hot compress to your treated area during the downtime period to soothe any discomfort.
Will fat-dissolving injections make me look slimmer?
Yes! It can give you a slimmer appearance both on your face and body with just a few treatments. This is an excellent treatment for people who want to get rid of stubborn fat in certain areas of the face and body. However, it should be noted that this shouldn't be considered as a complete substitute for liposuction.
How does fat-dissolving work?
We inject a solution (Aqualyx®) into the fatty tissue of your chosen area, and this solution surrounds those fatty cells and eliminates them. The remains of those fatty cells then exit your body as waste.
How long do fat-dissolving injections last?
The results are permanent for the fat cells that have been completely eliminated. So while the results are lasting, if fat cells remain, they can still get bigger. However, that can be remedied with multiple sessions.
When will I start to see the results?
It varies from person to person, but you'll see the full results of the treatment gradually, over a few months as the cells slowly die and exit your body.
Will there be bruising?
There may be a little bruising which dies down within a week after the treatment. However, everyone is different, and some people (especially mature skin) are more prone to heavy bruising than others.
Which product is best for fat-dissolving injections?
We use Aqualyx® as this is the best product in the market for fat-dissolving injections.
Will there be any pain while getting fat-dissolving injections?
The pain is very minimal. The injections used contain a numbing agent which helps minimise any feeling in the area. Before treatment, we also apply a topical numbing cream.
How long is the recovery period after getting fat-dissolving injections?
The downtime for getting fat-dissolving injections is minimal. Small amounts of bruising can occur, which fade within a week after the treatment. Small amounts of swelling can also occur for the first few hours after the procedure, but it subsides within the day.
